Our Your Net Biz Sales Strategies – Its Not All In A Script

Sales are just a natural part of business.    The fact is some will fail just because they do not have sales skills, people skills, or phone skills to master selling.  While many believe that sales people lie, mislead all in the name of the sale that is not the fact.  It goes back to the old saying … the dirty used car salesman.  The fact of the matter is while there are some great sales men there are some really bad sales men.

 

In YourNetBiz we have PBA (personal business assistance) so you do not have to do the selling or telling, and this one feature helps many business builders out immensely.    But for many Your Net Biz distributors they want to take control over their own sales strategies.  Learn the ropes inside and out, and there is no better way then by closing your own sales.

 

But with taking charge, while commendable, it is not as simple as picking up the phone.  We have experts who sell courses for thousands and thousands and it is all about closings, and selling over the phone.  While there are key points to selling there are some old rules that you just do not want to forget when talking to your clientele.

 

They are not a dollar sign, they are people, and they are coming to you to help them.   With our business mentoring people come from different models looking for help to have them profiting online.   Regardless if you are offering a product or a service, they still need something from you.  Treat them the way you would like to be treated.  Do it with a smile on your face.

 

Your clients want to feel valuable.  They want to feel like you are helping them with a problem.  So while you implement proven closings and sales strategies, don’t become a script and forget that you are having a conversation.  It’s not all about sales, but sometimes a conversation or a consultation to help them.

 

There are so many online courses covering sales strategies, closing strategies, and while they are valuable some just has to come natural.    When I first started My Internet Business  I referred to this one great salesman frequently when training and mentoring. 

 

He took this training on sales from a well-known salesman.  He took the training serious, and came back and held a teleseminar for us.  I was shocked at the change, and not for the better.  He sounded scripted, cold and the people were unresponsive.

 

He followed the script so much that he sounded more robot than human.  As you can imagine this didn’t respond well to his website visitors. 

 

Now I have recommended trainers for our Your Net Biz classes and have seen positive differences from these courses.  I tell my members, take the pieces the tools and resources provided but don’t lose yourself along the way.  Be personable, approachable, and helpful and that will go farther than any script.

 

One final note, for those that talk and talk, (similar to how I write and write lol) shut up and listens to your clientele.    It’s called over talking sometimes…where you outsell the customer.  Sometimes people are ready to buy, and then when the salesman just rattles on and on, they actually will lose them.

 

There are times in sales where you just want to shut up, throw the script down, and listen to your clients.  You will not only close more sales but may actually know what your customer base wants.
