YourNetBiz Mentor Megan Vaillancourt Reflects On Thanksgiving
- 5 Comment
Its Thanksgiving morning, the turkey is cooking, the deserts are made and my three beautiful kids are still in bed. I have worked for three days getting the groceries, baking, and cleaning my house in Thanksgiving festivity preparation. Living that busy life where we selfishly at times do not take the time to reflect on our thanks.
This has been a year like no other where I have to be thankful for everything that myself and my family have been blessed with. It has not been an easy year, and I have been faced with trials that I never thought would have happened to me.
In most of my post I have been teaching and training about how to build YourNetBiz to success. I have shared with you my success, and my member’s success. For many they have seen me as the person to help them to start a direct sales business to make money. For those that who have joined our business mentoring they still see me as there trainer, but I realized that it stops going from trainer to mentor to a combined knowledge base of friendship and sharing of entrepreneurial skills. My thanks then goes from friendship to a combined knowledge base that is no longer mentor and mentoree.
I think it needs to be noted that when many of my “students” join our team, it goes beyond training and growing YourNetBiz, it evolves into life lasting friendships that offers support and genuine care. I am so thankful for these friendships, for they have truly helped me through some rough patches. I expected our mentoring to help people to make money online, but I didn’t expect to be paid back with the wonderful friendships that have been created.
Those friendships were invaluable this year. My Dad was diagnosed with Cancer, and it was the toughest diagnoses for me to hear. My Dad has been my support when I was diagnosed with a chronic illness. He wasn’t supposed to get sick.
It was really the most freighting experience in my life. But with my wonderful husband, and friends, there support really helped me to stay positive. My Dad had surgery to remove his prostate. There is one spot we are watching, if his blood count elevates .01 point he will need radiation. However, they are thinking with aggressive radiation he will be cancer free.
We have to be thankful for the doctors and how far medicine has evolved over the last decades. My Dads case is not so gloomy due to the medical society that is actively searching for ways to fight back against cancer.
Everyday I give thanks for my three kids; I never thought I would be an entrepreneur. I never expected that My Internet Business would have created this lifestyle. All I ever wanted to do was be a great mom. It is my most important job.
To have the benefits of being a stay at home mom and building Your Net Biz was at one time just a dream. Now I am able to live that dream and help others achieve the same goals I have much thanks for that avenue.
Before my Turkey starts burning, I will end this on this note. We are busy in life, and while today Thanksgiving Day we will all remind each of other of our thanks. This year thanks should be offered everyday, not just reflected on one time per year.
Happy Thanksgiving To You All
Megan Vaillancourt
