Unemployment benefits are expiring for many that have lost their jobs. Those with job claims that have been receiving unemployment compensation are running out a rapid pace, leaving many concerned over their imminent future.
Over 7,000 people are loosing their unemployment compensation everyday. The white house and President Barack Obama is expected to review an aid package. With the current $8,000 tax credit for first-time home buyers set to expire this month we should see the president sign the act into law.
Is this enough for those that are deeply suffering with unemployment. Granted the Whitehouse and presidential staff has worked diligently to assist people in need over the months. The bill will provide Americans that are losing their unemployment benefits with 14 extra works. States that are experiencing a 8.5% or higher will get an additional 6 weeks on top of the 14 weeks.
Aide is on the way, which has to limit the fear for many. However, with Christmas around the corner, and a new year on the horizon many wonder what can they do for the next year. Where are the jobs?
