MLM business opportunities were one of the first business models to hit the Internet.    It offered an avenue for entrepreneurs to start a low cost business model, and slowly gain their profit margins over time.  Yet, entrepreneurs who started MLM soon realized, the income potential was slow, and demanding avenue to earn an income online.    It was then that direct sales companies immerged with higher commissions, and more lucrative payment structure.  Did direct sales Companies cause the demise of MLM Business opportunities?

MLM Business Opportunities are not the top choice for those seeking to make money online.   While there is a real possibility to earn a lucrative income with multi-level marketing, there is also a side of MLM that many are not informing you about.  The timetable to profit, the typical MLM opportunity will take you between 14 to 24 months to really see large profits.   With current economic times this is not always the best choice for entrepreneurs.

Why MLM Business Opportunities Are Difficult To Build

MLM Business Opportunities are difficult to build because of the income potential, but also because of the customer retention.  Most will have people join there business, but once they realize the amount of work and time they will have to invest in there business to see satisfactory results they will exit the business.    People have to see results in six weeks or less or they will lose interest in the business model, and will leave looking for something that will give them real results.  This causes MLM owners to consistently have to replace customers.   A cycle that can be mentally challenging for business owners to endure.

Sounds like MLM’s are not a good investment for entrepreneurs seeking to make money online.    This is not true; MLM’s can offer a lucrative income for many that are qualified to join the MLM business model.

Who is the most likely to enjoy the payout system of MLM.   Those that are profiting with Direct Sales companies like YourNetBiz.   If you have an entrepreneur that is making a strong income with Direct Sales, they may want to incorporate multiple streams of income with a MLM.    When you are profiting with Your Internet Business, then you can add a MLM business to enhance your earnings.

In our business mentoring for YourNetBiz and My Internet Business we actually teach people how to enhance their earnings with multiple streams of income.  MLMs become valuable once six figures are being hit with an Internet business.    Then incorporating multi-level marketing is suggested.

I call MLMs the retirement fund.  If you marketing correctly business like Your Net Biz can continue to profit with minimum work (this is once you have really established a profit margin, until those figures are met this is not a 100% automated business) but if you are close to retirement implement a MLM and after 3 years you will continue to make a residual income without doing any work.

Direct Sales, as in Your Net Biz gives you the immediate high-ticket item to make a lucrative income, but incorporating a MLM is another avenue to creating multiple streams of income.
