Internet Business Crash Course – Does Your Internet Business Need A Face Lift
- 1 Comment
Internet Business Opportunities have been a popular, and lucrative avenue to combating our ailing economy. A major increase in the number of successful online business opportunities from home startups has been seen over the last several years. But what do you do if Your Net Biz is not profiting the way you would like. Do you need a major reconstruction or could it need just a little face-lift to start profiting.
I am asked to look at entrepreneurs business plan to see where there are missing wholes in their business. Some want to know how they can make more money; others want to know why they are not making any money. I have evaluated over 50 business plans in the last 8 months. While some need major reconstruction, others just need a few changes that can have their Internet Business profiting.
When evaluating a business there are two things that need to be addressed first. Many think it is there marketing plan, and while there advertising strategies will play a big role in how successful there Internet Business is, it will not do you any good unless you look at the foundation of your business. The foundation will tell us if YourNetBiz needs a whole overhaul or just needs a few changes.
The first thing we look at is your products, services, and target audience. Shockingly 63% of entrepreneurs will not know who there target audience is for their business. Your target audience is those who have a strong desire for what you have, instead of putting your business in front of people that have a low interest level, it is about placing your website right in the middle of the people that have an interest to what you have.
Would you start a steak house in a vegetarian town? . Rather would you put a vegetarian shop smack in the middle of town? (Okay I don’t’ know if there is a really a vegetarian town but I think you get the picture) Which business will do better? It is the same thing with Internet Business, yet the power of the World Wide Web is that you can sit smack in front of highly targeted traffic all day every day. When you find your targeted audience you will generate interested buyers, wanting the products and services that YourNetBiz provides.
Market Research is critical. Once you teach a business builder how to identify there target audience, then your entire business plan will revolve around your discoveries. These are tools that you should be working on every week, to enhance and attract the exact people who want what you have. Implement this and you will make money. It’s all about your customer base.
Once you have identified your target audience, it then becomes about your website presentation. What attracts them to your website verses your competition? Why would they buy from you? What can you give them that others can’t? You want your website to answer these questions, and attract your buying audience.
The website is the second biggest killer online. Some are just to hypie, some are to boring, and others have too much flash. You may be wondering how can I build a website without being boring and without too much flash? You need a happy medium, a clean-cut design, which provides information for your customers to make an educated decision.
Does your website have an opt in form, and why should your visitors opt into your information. You want contacts, you want action initiated people, and the secondary action oriented individual is the one that opt in to your site. The first is the buyer, but getting the secondary opt in is important to stay in touch with them.
Making just a few changes to a website can make a big difference, and while I can’t list all of them here as the post is getting long, I can tell you the number one factor that changes things up is the video. Provide a video, explanatory while having them connect with you. Its one major change when one correctly that can help YourNetBiz profit.
Internet Business owners sometimes work on the bigger pieces before going back to the basis to identify any problematic areas. It can all go back to the foundation of the your business. If you build your foundations strong your business will likely survive the test of time, if you don’t it may be time for an Internet Business face-lift.
