Internet Business Startups: Stay At Home Moms Aren’t Just Sitting Around Watching Oprah

Oprah has been a top roll model for women.  Many have watched as Oprah Winfrey has captivated her audiences, leading her to be the most influential women of current times.  She has shared her early struggles of growing up poor and with many telling her she would not reach her goals.  Yet, her spirit, and drive for what she loved has created a roll model for many.

The Stay At Home Mom has been categorized as the addict not missing a Oprah episode.  The child on her hip, and the vacuum waiting for a break to finish there mom duties.  Yet stay at home moms may be tuning into their favorite talk show host, but many are setting out to earn executive style incomes working an Internet Business, while still maintaining the challenging job of a mom at home with her kids.

Stay At Home Moms were more then just busy with full time mommy duty.  However, with economic struggles slapping down heavily upon society, families are finding it more necessary then ever to have two incomes.  After being at home, and being the prime care givers, the thought of changing their families routine is heart wrenching.  However, not bringing in a second income can prove to be financial fatal.  In the last 12 months more stay at home moms are setting out to earn money online fast by starting an Internet Business.

In training in our business Mentoring group Mentors 4 U, we find consecutively that stay at home moms have the strongest desire to make an executive style income.  They offer the most consistency to their business, a strong want, and desire to learn.  I believe that many are succeeding due to the managerial skills that must be obtained when being a parent.

I talked to our recent stay at home moms, Serena mom of four children, and asked her what made her want to succeed with her business, besides the obvious more money aspect.  Serena’s response was simple yet may sum up why stay at home moms appear to do so well in the work from home based business industry.  “Its not a option to fail, I have to devote the time to make this work to show my kids that you can do anything you set your mind to.  If it comes to watching my favorite show, or building my business, I am going to build my business.  I keep myself centered by consistently asking myself, how would I approach my kids if they were taking on a new venture in their life.  Its obvious I would tell them they could do anything they set their mind to.  I can’t just talk the talk I have to walk the walk, set an example through me that my kids can take with them.”

As many are setting an example through Oprah, stay at home moms are setting a strong message through their kids…it looks like that message is helping them succeed with an Internet Business
