When starting an Internet Business there are many questions on how to effectively market.  In previous times with My Internet Business people were told to buy leads.  This was the easiest way for mentors to bring a form of advertising to the table.   Instead of mentoring and training business builders on how to effectively market their online business they simply plugged them to a cheap lead list, handed them a script and sent them on there way to do cold calling.  Did there business grow at rapid speed? Of course not, while this avenue might have brought sporadic sales it certainly did not allow business builders to earn money online on a regular basis. Unfortunately that is why the failure rate amongst business builders were high. 

The Online Marketing Change

More and more mentoring teams are stepping up to the plate to properly train there builders.  With My Internet Business and Mentors 4 U we discovered several different things, when setting up our training system.  Your success is in direct proportion to how many people you help along the way.  Once you show people how to earn money online, make them successful it creates a branding and recognition for you to grow your business.  Lets spin it this way…if you didn’t help people, and were not offering them a valid way to make money, how long to you believe you would be in business.  When starting an Internet Business you should not only want to be in business for today but long into the future.  The most important way to make sure that happens is to give top notch training that in turn makes your client base success.

There has to be several components within the team aspect to make it a valid mentoring team.   You are going to see where people say best mentoring.  I will help you to earn extreme money guaranteed.   Okay they can talk the talk but can they walk the walk.  Before I even created Mentors 4 U, or I started My Internet Business or Passport To Wealth, I thought it was important to truly understand what the general business builders needed.  When starting an Internet business over 9 years ago for the first time I knew what I was lacking.  I didn’t have anyone to show me how to effectively market, and train or did I have the resources to help myself succeed online.  I was the Tasmania devil running into so many roadblocks.  Unfortunately I took the long road, and spent a lot of money figuring this big dot com world out. I went to seminars, and Marketing classes.  It was like turning on a light switch as My Internet Business started pulling in high profits.  So I now knew what I had needed when starting an Internet Business, and I knew how to market.  But what else was the general public in need of.

I basically interviewed past Internet Business builders.  People that had failed, and entrepreneurs that had made it.  The same thing kept coming forth, mentoring and training.  The ones who had failed did not receive any training, not even a phone call from their sponsor.  One minute they were best friends and after they joined they were gone to the next person who would send them money.   What happened to the entrepreneurs who were successful? One of two things occurred.  Either they were like me and had to pay to get the mentoring and support or they simply found a good mentor and trainer.  So the same things happened, they needed to know how to market.

My next important questions was how do you feel you would have learned the techniques the best? The responses were almost always the same.  People were e tired of dialing into a phone line and getting a ra ra session.  Most of the trainings they participated in were telling them how much money they would make if they just stuck to it.  Its all about the numbers.  Well I knew, that this wasn’t true as they had discovered the hard way.  Most said they were visual learners and could have learned easier if a visual aid was provided.

1.) Back office Resources - Every good mentoring team will create a private back Office.  This should range from getting you started to intermediate marketing and advanced marketing

2.) Multiple Leaders - In my opinion it becomes rather difficult to mentor people properly with just one person handling all the task. It takes time and effort to make sure someone’s business is set up properly.  What should occur is a networking of top business builders to assist you with handling your business.

3.) Tested and Proven Training - The training offered should have gone through a complete testing and evaluation.  Any time you are seeking mentoring you should ask them about there training, marketing and what test they conducted to make sure it is going to assist you to earn money online.  Anyone who is marketing and conducting that campaign the proper way will have statistics to provide to you.

4.) Weekly Trainings - How do you know that your mentor will actually give you the necessary trainings.  the way to insure they will give you active support is to make sure that they provide personalized training per week.  As importantly insure those trainings are done on webinar.  There should be a visual aid in allowing you to see what your trainers are doing besides just hearing it.

5.) Visual tutorials - Besides making sure that you have the Live trainings there should be a section where you can watch the tutorials and trainings.  Meaning a live presentation recorded for your use.

6.) Mentoring Meetings - One on one mentoring meeting should be scheduled to insure that your marketing efforts are moving forward.  This allows you to talk about goal setting and what the best call to action to receive those goals are.  Especially at the beginning this should be a once a week activity.

7.) Traffic Analysis - How is you traffic working.  Top mentors should be analyzing your traffic results and if needed recommending how to increase those results.  This does not mean they are doing the marketing for you, rather they are making sure that your lessons and training are bringing you results if not then they will assist you in fixing the problem

8.) One On One Mentoring - No matter how well the back office and the live trainings are established the one thing that every person should have is one on one mentoring.  The best way to insure that you are going to receive all of those results is by having a list of contacts.  This establishes that there is a networking of people ready to assist you.

9.) Proven Results - How do you know they can help you unless they have proven track record.  Do Google or yahoo searches on each name. If they have been successful on the Internet that will be apparent by a simple search.

10.) Duplication - Great they earn money online.  But when I was building My Internet Business I wanted to make sure that they could help me to d the same.  Discover what there duplication rates are and how many people they help along the way.

Even if you are not a leader, and don’t want to ever go down that road it is still imperative to join a mentoring team that will help out your clients.  Your success again will be in direct proportion to how many people you how help along the way.  Making sure that you partner with the right mentoring team will allow them to have the success necessary to insure your Internet Business is profitable.

Last week on our mentoring training for My Internet Business we trained on MySpace and the benefits to utilizing some secret tools that we have come in contact with.  When ever we do our live webinar trainings we go out of the traditional box of marketing.  We want entrepenuers to experience how different online marketing strategies, and properly branding thereselves will and can increase sales margins.

Last week we brought on exciting themes that each My Internet Business could utlize in branding themselves.  We had many that were just starting an Internet Business that came in with amazing results in there first few days.   It goes to prove those that take our Mentors 4 u training and then implement the steps will earn money online.

This morning I woke up to three faces yelling in unison Happy Mothers Day. One held a flower, the other a card, and the other a cup of coffee. The card said something really short but it said a lot. Of course they had you are the best mom, all kids think that, but it was the last statement that made me proud. My eleven year old wrote…thanks mom for always being here and always making it to our school and games. Its a simple statement, yes but I wonder if they really understand what that meant for me.I had chosen to be a stay at home mom after my first son was born. Was not the easiest decision, but after cutting expenses I decided this is where I wanted to be. Then after #2, finances went south. That’s when I decided that starting an Internet Business was the only solution to not having to go back to the 9-5 job. I think it is harder once you stay home and then decide to go back to work. The kids would have a harder adjustment at the older ages then if I had started at birth. So I hit the Internet and began my internet adventure.

You will notice this past week I have not posted much. My business partner Stephanie Sammour came to Vermont, to work on upgrades for our mentoring and training for My Internet Business.  We accomplished alot of exciting new things that we are going to be bringing to our members of Mentors 4 U over the next few weeks.  We got a lot accomplished, in additon our families got to meet play and I believe our kids will have lifetime friends.  My four year old and her three year old fought like sister in brother but we had two head strong kids that one wanted to play dolls and one power Rangers.  It was a comical contrast.

Stephanie and myself have built Passport To Wealth and My Internet business together.  We get questions on to why we did this, and why when you have the power and the online marketing experience would you work together.  So let me clarify our whys for you.

I have been online for about 9 years now.  I am certainly not going to tell you that I came right in and was able to earn money online.  No I had many of bumps, jolts, and disappointments.  Like most that come online to work from home, I  had that desire and motivation but didn’t have the right training nor the right mentoring.  So I am here what changed.  Thousands in seminars and education classes.  Once I finally learned how marketing an Internet Business worked, thats when I was able to have My Internet Business  grow, expand, and profit.

My first real success was with Make Money Make Excuses and Jaguar Marketing System.  I had taken the seminars and had the education and joined with a mentor that promised the world.  What happened she basically stole money.  In comes Stephanie Sammour… she got scammed even more money from the same person.  Sometimes in life when you have the same struggles and passion to succeed you end up clicking.  We both had been jipped by a mentor and we both were now able to earn money online. 

Talking about our road to success we realized even though she stole we had learned how to market effectively.  So it started as an idea.  If someone had just shown us how to do this at the beginning we would have been able to make money instead of taking the long road.  We both said as we progressed we were going to test and retest and provide the top mentoring and training so that others didn’t have to go through the same thing.

As our experience grew so did our knowledge as to what worked and what didn’t.  We threw in the towel and vowed never to buy leads again, never to cold call, and to solely market online.  After testing and reevaluating we realized that you didn’t have to spend thousands to make thousands.  Hence began our training and mentoring program.  No we hadn’t named it yet, nor had we completely shared it.  Unlike others that through things out we agreed we would test it on a new group of people track there results and then open it up once we were satisfied with the results

No disrespect to Jaguar Marketing System, but this was not going to be the business that would give us the avenue to train and mentor our people properly.  So we went on the look out, researched and researched some more.  Thats when we found Passport To Wealth and Darren Gaudry. And of course as of current Darren Guadry’s new My Internet Business.

This was the one we wanted to partner with.  But in order to give everyone the attention and not be concerned over who sale is this.  We agreed to make this less complicated to do  it together. 

Since then Stephanie  and I have worked together.  We are able to provide better training for My Internet Business, and Mentors 4 U.  We have grown and added on other leaders to assit members. 

As you see we are consistenlty growing and changing as Stephanie came we added some new aspects. Partnering together worked for us.  We trust and have common goals.  Is this for everyone no. But it is working for us and our members.  

Many times new entrepreneurs in My Internet Business are excited just to have their own online business. Now Where do you go? Members need to learn online marketing techniques to send potential clients to there site. I know you have heard automation, isn’t the world wide web supposed to do it for me? What happened to copy and paste marketing? I don’t know about copy and paste but there are some things you can do to make your life easier.Marketing is going to be the core of your business. Once a website is developed your goal is to get potential clients to visit your site. Without visitors to your website, means no sales for your opportunity. Now the below techniques do not solely apply for My Internet Business, it also works well for any industry. The Problem

Many of my top earners within My Internet business have been real estate brokers,  and investors, as well as the stay at home mom, or stay at home dad.  Please understand that what I am about to say does not pertain to everyone.  But there is a small percentage that is holding them back.  The internet has evolved and so has the way we generate and earn an income.  More importantly is the way you are getting your opportunity seen.

Yes, the closings are generally the same and the way you present yourself.  However marketing and presenting your opportunity is different.  The most knowledgeable and well experienced and one field are sometimes less willing to bend the old way.  My questions are why you are here if your way is working.  Yes the times have changed, but with those changes mean a change in the way you do business.  Learning some of the latest marketing advancements is certainly not going to hurt your case, so why not bend a little and test it out.

Here is a perfect example…

Let’s call him John, came into My Internet Business his goal, was to earn money with My Internet Business and as a real estate agent learn how to bring his business online.  In the first week he implemented steps and earned a staggering 7,000.00. He has continued to grow his online business.    He should have had confidence in our Mentors 4 U training right?  Well it didn’t quite go like that.  As we started to move towards marketing his real estate, his feet went in the mud and just couldn’t bear to bend the way he had done stuff.

In his defense he had great success in real estate and to take on a different strategy is nerve wracking.   This was his baby he put years of hard work and effort into this then this so called expert comes a long and wants to do a face lift.  I understand to take pride in your business.

A lot of times in business it is difficult to change with the times. You Want To Say I have My Internet Business But Are You Ready For The Commitment Factor?

 The Internet equates to immediate success right? Its an automated world and we can hit enter twice and see our bank accounts increase with ease. This is Wrong and if looked at in that way when starting My Internet Business you will fail. One of the sure fire ways to success is to be realistic about your level of commitment and your task that you have to complete. I know that many are led down a path to believe that just because they are connected to the web they will be guaranteed a spot in long term fortune. Lets get real. The first thing you can do to lead your business to success is to understand what you will need to accomplish. The dollar signs are what most of us are starting an Internet Business for. But there is a beginning, intermediate, and never an end to achieving Internet success.
 

Never an end? You heard me right, when mentoring My Internet Business and Passport To Wealth members there is always a beginners classes, then we proceed to intermediate, and we go to advanced classes, however the advanced classes never end. I am proud of the income I have generated from My Internet Business and consider my self an expert in Marketing an Internet Business, however my learning never ceases. You can never learn to much and you should always continue to learn from others in this industry. Why make this point. Because learning is going to take a commitment on your part. You are not going to just hit the enter key and generate an income, rather you are going to have to learn how to start generating that income.
 

That brings me to a story. I have a friend that had started to see how my life had changed in the last few years. I was a stay at home mom and depended solely on my husbands income. All of a sudden I started to spread my wealth a little. I made a hefty donation to a cystic fibrosis fund, I purchase a camper, remodeled my home and bought my kids two snow machines, a dirt bike, and a four wheeler. I will never forget the day she came over for coffee and said you must have loans all over the place, how are you going to keep all this stuff. She said it with such concern. When I told her I didn’t have any loans, her eyes got as big as quarters. I laugh now to think back at her shocked look. I think if she didn’t know me better she would have thought we were selling something illegal. I usually don’t tell my friends what I do for a living. I had been one of those sales people that sold to their family and friends at the beginning of my online career. Once I realized that there was a better way I vowed I would never tell anyone unless they asked me.
 

Long story short, Lisa a work at home mom as well, asked me what I was doing. I showed her MyInternetBusiness and could feel her excitement. I showed her the testimonials from people I had helped from My Internet Business and she was immediately excited. She asked me what she had to do to create the same income I had generated. I told her. “Its pretty simple. I want you to devote an honest sincere two hours every day for four days per weeks. I can guarantee you that within six months you will achieve your what you want?

To wrap this up, It goes to prove she wanted this business but she didn’t want to work for it. That’s what sets the successful people apart from the people who fail. There is going to be a commitment and more importantly you have to be anle to invest your time on a consistent basis. If you can’t do that then don’t waste your time.

In starting My Internet Business I was committed to changing my life. I wanted to continue to be a stay at home mom, but I wanted rather needed to have an income coming in. To earn the income I have has shocked me. I tell people looking into a home business that you need to devote time to your business on a consistent manner. It can’t be I am going to build My Internet Business today and tomorrow leave it on auto-pilot and expect to create a Passport To Wealth it won’t work that way.
 

To start your business the right way it is crucial to understand there will be commitment, and you should find a mentor who sill teach you how to earn money with My Internet Business. Mentoring My Internet Business How Do You Know?

When you are looking into any online business there is a lot of hype and honestly some BS out there.  People opening there fed-ex packages cash spilling out.  It enticing isn’t it!  But does it really matter how well John Bob Sue or Bill is doing?  Great there life has changed how are they going to help you?  When building and working with My Internet Business I never really cared how much they were making.  What really mattered is can they help me do the same.

Mentoring in My Internet Business I have been fortunate to meet so many people.  I have heard stories in peoples network marketing career that had me cringing.  Stories of mentors who promised them big dollars.  Many times promising it was soo easy because there was no work, promising they were best friends and they could call anytime after they joined, and telling them they were going to work closely with them.  The sad fact is most of these people never talked to them again.  Why?  I don’t believe that mentors want to leave people in the dust.  The fact is they are just not equipped to handle the mentoring in an organized and functioning way that doesn’t overwhelm them.  Sometimes peoples heads are so big they don’t want to ask for help.  That is the biggest mistake of all.  Do you think Donald Trump doesn’t have help creating his enterprise.  Sure he may be the mastermind.  But if every employee left his corporations, and everyone refused to work for him, where would he be.  Mr. Trump has extraordinary entrepreneurial skills he understands that to create a empire you need the help of people.  Why in My Internet Business top income earners do not get that is really beyond me.

How You can protect yourself by getting the best mentoring available to you.

Many times the biggest downfall when people are starting My Internet Business Is that they go by the enticement of dollar signs, and people in the industry telling others how much they make.  While making sure you are partnering with professionals, I believe it should not be driven by how much they make but rather how much they make and how they are going to help you do the same.  You can’t simply go by someone saying I make a lot of money online and I will show you how.  You need to ask how?  What is the exact methodology that they will use to assist you in growing My Internet Business?

They may not be able to give you there exact methods but they should be able to give you a game plan and benefits that will have you earn money online.

1.) Do they have training calls - They should offer weekly training calls.  Not simply where you are getting on a phone line.  If they are serious about training you they should offer a webinar service for you to watch the trainings.

Rather you need to learn How To Market and advertise your business.  Paying for leads is a sure way to spiral and dwindle an advertising budget and you are coming into My Internet Business to earn money not lose it. When looking for a mentor it is important to keep in mind there job is to show you how to earn money online.  I see out on the Internet where people are promising to do the work for you.
