Marketing Companies Hate Mail - Give Me A Break

Anyone who knows me and my business mentoring strategies for YourNetBiz and My Internet Business, also knows that I take a strong stand on lead generation companies and some marketing companies. Now notice I said some marketing companies (not all), but when it comes to purchasing leads it’s the same negative feelings over and over again.
I guess I have touched a nerve of one lead generating company (won’t mention names), because I got an email explaining there wonderful success ratios, and I shouldn’t lump all lead generation from my bad experience. Okay… let me rephrase my thoughts. After years of working with Direct Sales Companies, entrepreneurs, and business owners I have consistently come up with the same conclusion. Buying leads is the fastest and surest way to having your Internet Business spiral out of control.
The fact remains when leads are purchased, even when they are promised to be targeted, they are not targeted enough to bring in the sales volume one wants from an Internet Business. Yes, My Internet Business has had negative responses to purchasing leads. But my conclusion really came to full attention after coaching different entrepreneurs who consistently ran into a brick wall when purchasing leads. This is not duplication, this is not something I can feel good about when teaching My Internet Business members on how to create a passive income. To tell them to go to a magic lead company to call these leads only to continuously run into a brick wall is not mentoring and training.

Every week you should create reports on what you are spending. Create a budget and stick to it. Know what your expenses and revenue is. If you don’t need it and do not use it then get rid of it. The things that are bringing you in the largest revenue you obviously keep. The ones that aren’t, it is time to get rid of.
